The High Lonesome Ranch
Meeker, Colorado
There are many choices of lodging at the ranch. See this overview and then choose from many houses, cabins, tents and privates.
The Guest House consists of eight bedrooms offering a combination of luxury suites, deluxe guest rooms with private baths, and rooms with shared baths. Find a full kitchen, screened reading porch, great room and recreation room with a gaming table, western antiques, flat-screen satellite TV, DVD player, WIFI, a stone fireplace and pool table.
The Pond House is a five-bedroom house offering a master suite, deluxe guest suites, rooms with shared baths, a full kitchen, a great room, a screened sunroom, and a private trout pond in your front yard. A flat-screen satellite TV, DVD player, and WIFI are there for you to enjoy.
Forshay Cabin is located up valley, the two-bedroom, two-bath Forshay log cabin complete with kitchen, living room and dining room, offers all the creature comforts and an awesome view. Next door is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom cabin that is prefect for the kids and adventurous at heart.
Homestead House is an early 1900s homestead with a creek and two trout-filled ponds just off the porch. The 3-bedroom cabin has a dining room, kitchen, reading room, and 3 baths. A kennel for Fido is just outside.
Castle Rock Camp is our Kimball Creek lodging and features an upscale safari-tent experience for up to 10 guests. Tents come complete with a king bed or two twins, dresser, and a heater to take the chill off the evening air. You will have your own private locked luxury bathroom with stone shower, closet, and safe. Enjoy a fine dinner and bottle of wine in the nearby 2,800 square foot lodge. You can watch millions of stars at night with the sound of Kimball Creek in the background. Bookings for our Castle Rock Camp go fast and have a required minimum of 8 guests so check your calendars now.
McKay Fork was originally an authentic turn-of-the-century camp for cowboys, McKay Fork offers 5 bedrooms. The main house includes a master suite with bath, galley kitchen, living room, and enclosed porch. Next door are a two-bedroom cabin, a two-level cabin, and a bathhouse with two additional full baths. Just outside is a covered outdoor pavilion with dining area, complete with a fire pit that our staff is happy to attend to.
